SKWCP35-Kevlar® Wire-Core Poly
Our Kevlar®/steel-core gloves provide increased cut resistance compared to standard Kevlar® gloves. Designed to protect workers in extremely hazardous applications that demand a high level of cut protection. SCXLP-Emerald CX Series
The best thing about our Emerald CX gloves is not their exceptional cut resistance. The best thing is that they don’t feel like highly cut resistance gloves. You can’t tell your wearing a quarter mile of steel on your hand. You can’t tell these gloves will stop a brand new razor blade slashed with at least 1200 grams of force, for our lightest version to over 3000 grams for our Nitrile version (SCXNT) in lab trials. Compare that to a heavy weight leather glove, which cuts at under 150 grams.
Besides stellar cut resistance, very high abrasion resistance and great comfort.

The most recent addition to our line of Emerald CX cut-resistant gloves is the SKWCPLTC, which features the exceptional cut-resistance engineered into our Emerald CX yarns (a blend of Kevlar®, wire core steel and polyester) with the added protection of a split-leather, reinforced thumb patch. The result is that you have increased cut-resistance in the mostcritical area - the crotch of the thumb - without sacrificing the touch sensitivity and dexterity of a string glove. So, in situations where workers are handling sheet metal or glass, where touch sensitivity is as important as protecting the inside of the thumb area, this glove is the perfect choice.
Independent tests revealed the following results:
• CPPT Cut test - 2260 grams (ASTM level 4)
• TABER - 743 cycles (ASTM level 2)
With over a quarter-mile of steel in each glove, the cut and abrasion-resistance is twice that of a regular Kevlar® glove.
